#10 – Breathe! – I can’t tell you how important it is to constantly breathe when you are professional photographer. Not only does it help you make great photos but if you can keep breathing long enough after a photoshoot then you’ll be able to collect the check from the client. Try different kinds of breathing too! In through the nose and out the mouth. Or in and out of the mouth. Talk to your customers about how you like it in and out of the mouth.
#9 – Try out a digital camera! - Boy howdy! Digital cameras are becoming all the rage in 2011! For only a few thousand pesos or a few hundred thousand pesos you can take photos that don’t need film! Digital photography allows you to take pictures and see them as soon as they are downloaded on a computer! It’s almost instant! If you buy a digital camera make sure you get a good one like a Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Olympus, or iPhone.
#8 – Everytime you see a tree… take a photo of it! – Have you ever thought about how important trees are in the world? They help us achieve number 10 on this list! Everyone loves trees and if you have a lot of pictures of trees everyone will love you. When showing your photos of trees to people talk about how you were thinking about the innocence of that tree at the moment of capture. Or point out the transcendental qualities of light and form as the moon beams of uranus waft through the branches. People will think you’re quite the artist.
#7 – Make a portfolio! – Take two or three hundred of your best photographs and make a portfolio! You need this to show to people how good of a photographer you are! I like to make mine out of half inch galvanized steel because it’s really impressive and useful for many other things in life!
#6 – Take pictures of kids! – Parents love their kids and they love photos of their kids! If you don’t have kids then go to your local park and take lots of photos of children. Try shooting from different angles like from inside the bushes, behind trees, or from your parked car for really “exciting opportunities.” You’ll soon meet all of the parents of the kids you are taking photos of as well as lots of local law enforcement officers who, lots of times, have kids too! If they come up to you with 'dos por dos' in hand be sure to have your portfolio from #7 with you. That steel cover is going to be useful to protect yourself. Drop a few of your business cards as you run away. Always market yourself!
#5 – Move to Metro Manila! – Lots and lots of photographers are in Metro Manila. Lots of people who love photography are in Metro Manila. It only makes perfect sense to grab your camera bag and move there to open as big of a photo studio as you can find! Fill that studio with things like backgrounds, lighting, and tripods of different sizes and colors and you’ll be on your way to the bank! I’m not sure what you’ll be doing once you get to the bank but it might involve a full dark helmet and a paper bag with a note attached to it. Ask the teller if they have kids.
#4 – Join the social media revolution! – With internet web sites like facebook and twitter becoming so popular these days you’ll need to be on there to meet people. You’ll also find many opportunities to win free stuff for all of the online surveys these internet web sites have to offer! Add lots of spinning cameras that make noises to your internet web site pages because you want people to notice you and nothing is better than animated gifs of cameras. Also try out tumblr.
#3 – Make your own lenses! – Did you know that professional lenses can cost up to 45 thousand pesos? As you are getting started you might need to save some money and one way to do that is to make your own lenses. The most important thing to remember is the convex lens curves outward; a biconvex lens curves outward on both sides, and a plano-convex lens is flat on one side and outwardly curved on the other. There are also concave lenes, biconcave, and plano-concave lenses. The elements are not necessarily symmetrical and can curve more on one side than the other. Thickening the middle of the lens relative to its edges causes light rays to converge or focus. Lenses with thick edges and thin middles make light rays disperse.
#2 – Wear socks! On your feet! – I’ve met a lot of professional photographers in my life and one thing that they all have in common is almost all of them, with few exceptions, wear socks… on their feet. I notice this because I’m a photographer and I’m supposed to notice the details in life and find beauty in those details. The next time you meet a professional photographer ask them to take their pants off and see if they are wearing socks. You’ll be shocked at how they react to your noticing details like this and they will know that you are a lot like themselves. You will now have friends in “the industry”! Talk about the moon beams from uranus with your new friends.

10 Things That Drivers Should Know
1. MMDA Enforcers are not allowed to group together while apprehending a motorist. They are not even allowed to stand together in groups of two (2) or more, except in actual times of special operations (e.g. apprehending groups of smoke-belching/colorum buses).
2. Swerving is not a traffic violation. It is defined as a movement wherein vehicles shift from a lane to another. However, it can constitute the offense of reckless driving if it is done without precautions (e.g. swerving in an abrupt and careless manner, swerving without the use of signals).
3. A driver’s license cannot be confiscated by a Traffic Enforcer during traffic apprehensions except on the following situations:
a. The driver was involved in a traffic accident
b. The driver has accumulated three (3) or more unsettled violations
c. The driver has been apprehended for the following violations:
+ Allowing another person to use driver’s license
+ Broken sealing wire
+ Broken taximeter seal
+ Colorum operation (cargo/passenger vehicle)
+ Driving against traffic
+ Fake driver’s license
+ Fake/altered taximeter seal
+ Fake/altered sealing wire
+ Fast/defective/non-operational/tampered taxi meter
+ Flagged up meter
+ Illegal or unauthorized counter-flow
+ Illegal transfer of plates/tags/stickers
+ Joined/reconnected sealing wire
+ No driver’s ID
+ Ignoring Organized Bus Route (OBR) interval timers (for 2nd offense)
+ Skipping or bypassing designated OBR terminals or loading bays (for 2nd offense)
+ Operating on contractual basis
+ Out of line operation
+ Overcharging (with or without conductor) (for the 2nd offense)
+ Refusal to convey passengers to destination/trip-cutting (Taxis and Public Utility Vehicles)
+ Refusal to render service to public (Taxis and Public Utility Vehicles)
+ Tampered sealing wire
+ Tampered taximeter seal
+ Tampering of OR/CR/CPC & other documents (spurious documents)
+ Undue preference/unjust discrimination
+ Using motor vehicle in commission of crime
The above-mentioned administrative violations also require a minimum of 2 hours seminar (for the drivers) at the Traffic Academy.
However, any driver who has committed three (3) or more unpaid violations, whether administrative or moving, shall also be subject to attending seminars, whose length shall be based on the results of the diagnostic exam (exam that will determine the contents of the seminar progress), which will be administered by the Agency.
*Note: If the license is to be confiscated, the Traffic Enforcer should inform the driver of the reason/s for the confiscation and the ticket validity.
If the driver refuses to surrender his driver’s license, his plate may be detached pursuant to Section 74 & 75, MC 89-105.
4. Private Vehicles are not allowed to use the yellow lane except when they are about to turn - provided that they start shifting lanes upon seeing the transition lane (broken white lines painted diagonally), that you can see around 50 meters away from an intersection. However, selective apprehension of private vehicles using the yellow lane is highly prohibited.
The yellow lanes (1st and 2nd lanes in EDSA) are only for City Buses. City Buses are not allowed to go beyond the yellow lanes. If they do so, they will be apprehended for violating the yellow lane policy.
Provincial buses are also not allowed to use the yellow lane. Instead, they are encouraged to use the third lane.
5. Each Traffic Enforcer has his/her own written mission order issued by the MMDA Central Admin. Apprehended drivers are free to ask for the apprehending officer’s mission order, which includes his area of responsibility, time of duty, official function. It also indicates whether or not the enforcer is authorized to issue tickets.
6. Traffic Enforcers should issue TVR in complete uniform, with visible nameplates. Traffic Enforcers are instructed to accomplish the TVR (Traffic Violation Receipt) without any delay or argument on the road, so as to avoid traffic congestion.
7. The Apprehending Enforcer is allowed to issue another TVR for Towing Fee. If the owner of the impounded vehicle fails to release his vehicle after payment of fine in the stipulated date, the impounding officer shall issue a separate TVR indicating no. of days it has remained at the impounding area.
8. Before apprehending, the Traffic Enforcer should flag down the vehicle and lead it to the roadside where it will not obstruct the flow of traffic. Traffic Enforcers should courteously inform the driver of his violation.
9. Traffic Enforcers are not allowed to ask drivers to alight from their vehicles while the apprehension is taking place. Most importantly, Traffic Enforcers are not allowed to ask or receive bribe money.
10. During traffic apprehensions, the following can be considered as a valid driver’s license:
# ID Plastic Card
# DLR / Temporary Driver’s License
# TOP (Temporary Operator’s Permit)
# International Driver’s License
# Foreign License
The Traffic Enforcer should exercise extra diligence in verifying the veracity of the data or documents presented.
If you encounter any Traffic Enforcer violating any of these, get the name of the Traffic Enforcer indicated on his/her name plate, and submit a letter of complaint addressed to the Traffic Adjudication Board (TAB), MMDA Bldg. EDSA cor. Orense St. Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati City, within 5 days after the apprehension.
In case you are involved in an argument with a Traffic Enforcer, call the MMDA Hotline 136, or the Metrobase at 0917-561-8711. Ask the Metrobase to send inspectors to go to the place where the argument is taking place for proper investigation.
You may also e-mail complaints against erring Traffic Enforcers to the MMDA thru email@mmda.gov.ph. Include full details of the incident (attach photos or videos if possible), so that they will be able to act promptly on the matter.

Evicted
I reigned supreme in the dawn of Friendster. How? I got me a lot of friends, but seriously, I don't know them all. Countless testimonials, pictures, perverts, and nymphos run around my friends list. I don't mind having them there, besides I don't talk to them. Then along came Facebook, it was a big big improvement of Friendster. It's a different social networking site which you'll actually know what's going on with a friend; that is if you don't know what Facebook is. It is based on the blueprint of Myspace, Friendster, Multiply, and other sites thats not that special. Twitter on the other hand is different.
I have a few hundreds in my Facebook friends list. Close friends, family, friends of friends, colleagues, groups, pages, insecure people.. I say 'hi' to every one of them when online, 'hi' for girls, 'oi!' if you're a guy; not a big deal for me, you're in my list might as well talk to you. As time goes by, I met a lot of friends both locally and internationally. Few are jerks and some are assholes, they're not the same...they're synonyms. Some are crazies, some have high ceilings above their heads, some are made of great mounds of turd, some just really don't care if you existed apart of you having friends with you in the cyber world.
And so I made a decision to correct things; and when I say correct it, delete some friends whom I never really got to talk to. Some who treat you as air, some who treat you as one big bad fart, and some just don't really talk to you in person and in cyberworld which is amusing for me because of you-added-me-I-added-you-we're-friends-but-we're-not-really-what's-with-this?-what-gives? I don't really understand. I evicted some of them, and a handful of 'some of them' got ticked off of me evaporating them in my list. My list. Mine. We don't interact get over it. This is just Facebook. It's cyber not the real world. If it's real show me your Farmville.
The conclusion of who-you-are-in-the-world-wide-web-is-who-you-are-in-real-life is just a sideshow.

Penis Size (but Not length)
Penis length is a much, much bigger deal to men than it is to women. The idea that women will do anything to get their hands (or other parts) on a long penis is a myth most likely perpetuated by the big penis industry. They just want you to come back to the penis store year after year and buy longer penises. (They never really explained this clearly in health class, I assume that's where you get them.)
Studies say 66% of women do not care very much at all about penis length. Many women even complain about them being too big.
Many women do care about penis girth however. Which just seems logical. I mean, unless the lady is very weirdly shaped, extra penis inches longer than the average just kind of goes to waste. Whereas, uh... expansion... within the effective area... would have an impact. So to speak.
But whatever your configuration, your lady is probably fine with it. 85% of ladies are fine with their man's penis size whereas only 55% of their men are happy with it. Which makes it about the reverse situation from a lady complaining about how fat she is and the man constantly having to tell her she looks fine.
Where do guys get the idea that length is the key, though? According to that article, the boys' locker room (63%) or porn (37%). If you're trying to get a longer penis, you're not trying to please shallow women. You're trying to please shallow men. Think about that.
So yeah, while your average shallow frat boy is ogling boobs and butts, your average shallow strumpet is eyeing guys that wear red, flash some green, work out, and, uh, have wide penises. Don't take notes. Neither group is worth catering to. Don't get me wrong -- we probably all care about that stuff to some degree, but for most of us, it's lower down on our lists.

How to Take Better Portrait Photos
Portrait photos are very impressive. A good portrait can project so much emotions and feelings and captivate the viewer. Taking high quality portrait photos is an art that takes time to master. This article will give you a few guidelines that can help you achieve high quality portrait photos in a short time and without being a professional photographer.
When taking portraits photos try to follow the following guidelines:
Choose the right background: A portrait photo is all about the object’s face. The most important part of the photo is the face. Choosing the right background can make sure the viewer is focused on the face. Pick a neutral background that does not attract attention. For example a soft solid color background is better than a busy street background. Avoid having people or moving objects in the background.
Blur the background: In addition to choosing a neutral background you should further blur it. This will put even more emphasis on the object instead of its surroundings. Blurring the background is best achieved by taking a photo using a shallow depth of field. This can be accomplished by using a zoom lens and shooting from a short distance or with a wide aperture manual setting. If your camera does not allow you to blur the photo by setting a shallow depth of field (for example it is hard to achieve such a depth of field with simple pocket cameras) you can always blur the background later using photo processing software on your computer.
Focus on the eyes: The center of a good portrait should be the object’s eyes. Before taking the photo look at the object eyes and try to figure out what story they tell. Depending on what you would like to capture in the portrait guide the object to look straight to the camera or maybe sideways focusing on some object. Adding a smile is also recommended unless you specifically want a face that does not smile in order to send some message to the viewer.
Use natural lighting: Natural lighting is necessary in order to capture the full color range and warmth of the skin. It is best to take portrait photos outdoors during the day. When shooting outdoors position the object in a way that the sun light hits it from the side. Never take a photo with the sun behind the object – results in shading – or right in front of the object – results in over exposing the face and distorting its natural colors. If some shades appear on the face use a soft fill-in flash to get rid of them. If you have to shoot indoors and use artificial lighting always use indirect light sources such as bounce flash or lights that illuminate the room instead of directly shining on the object.
Take many photos and experiment: I can not over emphasize this. In the digital era the cost of taking another photo is zero. One of the best ways to shoot a great photo is simply by shooting many photos. In fact all professional photographers do that they keep on shooting more and more photos so don’t be shy about it. Experiment with different settings – lighting, object position, white balancing settings to get different color temperatures, exposures, depth of field and more. When you are done sit down and sort the photos until you choose the one that you like the best. It is common sense that the chances of finding that one great photo are much higher if you tried 500 photos than if you just shot a few.
In conclusion if you have a good camera and the willingness to experiment portrait photo shooting you will quickly achieve the skills needed in order to shoot great portraits and impress your friends with portraits photos that look impressive and professional.

If you read the manual and learn to use them, scene selections can make the difference between an okay photo and a great photo.
Megapixels. Often discount cameras have a low number of megapixels, also known as MP on a camera. If you don’t plan to print your photos as enlargements, you will be able to get by with a lower number of megapixels. However, if you want high quality photos that you can enlarge go with a higher number. No matter what, don’t settle for a camera with less than 7 MP. You will be disappointed in the quality.
A quality camera doesn’t have to cost a fortune, but you will get what you pay for. Research different models before you plan to purchase, or go to a dedicated camera store where the salespeople know about the cameras. Once you have a good camera you can take wonderful pictures!
Exposure Value (ev) and Exposure Compensation
Exposure is defined as how much light hits the camera’s sensor. It depends on the camera settings mainly aperture and shutter speed. Exposure value (known as EV) is a number that represents the exposure setting of the camera. We will explain what the number means and how it is used for exposure compensation.
The exposure depends on two things: how much light gets through the lenses to the camera’s sensor and for how long the sensor is exposed. The former is a function of the aperture value while the latter is a function of the shutter speed. Exposure value is a number that represents this potential amount of light that could hit the sensor. It is important to understand that exposure value is a measure of how exposed the sensor is to light and not a measure of how much light actually hits the sensor. The exposure value is independent of how lit the scene is. For example a pair of aperture value and shutter speed represents the same exposure value both if the camera is used during a very bright day or during a dark night.
Each exposure value number represents all the possible shutter and aperture settings that result in the same exposure. Although the exposure value is the same for different combinations of aperture values and shutter speeds the resulting photo can be very different (the aperture controls the depth of field while shutter speed controls how much motion is captured)
EV 0.0 is defined as the exposure when setting the aperture to f-number 1.0 and the shutter speed to 1 second. All other exposure values are relative to that number. Exposure values are on a base two logarithmic scale. This means that every single step of EV – plus or minus 1 – represents the exposure (actual light that hits the sensor) being halved or doubled.
It is not likely that you will find yourself setting absolute exposure values. Most cameras do not support entering exposure values at all. You will however use exposure values when setting exposure compensation. Exposure compensation is a way to set the camera to an exposure that is lower or higher than what was automatically detected. The camera auto exposure setting is not perfect and in some scenes results in over or under exposed photos. In such cases exposure compensation can solve the problem Exposure compensation is also useful when you like to get photos that are a bit over or under exposed.
When setting exposure compensation you select an exposure value that is added to the current exposure setting. Usually exposure compensation values are no more than +/-5 EV. For example a compensation of -2EV will make a photo darker (or less exposed) while a compensation of +2EV will make it brighter (or more exposed). A good example of using exposure compensation is on a bright day. Compensate to lower exposure using a value of -0.5EV or -1EV to get richer colors and more details.
Exposure values can also be used in conjunction with auto bracketing. When using exposure auto bracketing each time you take a photo the camera takes a series of extra photos for you each with a slightly different exposure. You can set the EV step between each photo.

Best Man
When we were little we dance. We still dance, now crossing a street in a zigzag manner.
Yoma, as we call him. Derived from the group of words used back in high school 'yo! my men!'. You're not Dwayne Johnson, stop raising an eyebrow.
This dude sings and will sing The day you said goodnight or Kung wala ka by the now defunct band Hale, if he's drunk. I can make him cry, we can make him cry (ofcourse only with close friends), he'll show his true colors with you which is blue (I made that up) if he sense that you're not a dude who plays a dude who's not disguised as another dude.
He's into tattoos as you can tell from his photo here. He can make or break you, shake and bake. A very sweet guy with a voice of a champion. He's my best man.

Kiss Kiss Peng Peng!
Hot.....oooooohhhhhh aaaaaaahhhhhh. Hot Mama!
Hot with a one year old kid. Doesn't look the part? because that photo is old!
But honestly if you look at her now, the photo then and now just looks the same. How she did that? she has a strap-on baby momma tummy when she was pregnant, hand it out to doctors when she was in labor, stood up-walked out the hospital like nothing happened.
She's a nurse and nurses are ninjas.
I love hanging out with her, as to my previous post, I'm blessed with hot friends.
Dee-autiful!
I know, I know, 'Dee-autiful' is not a word, unless you're dumb.
You see, my girl friends are not uglies, maybe they're somewhat crazies but not uglies. I'm not hunting pretty chics, it just that I can't control what fate gives me...giving me tons of beautiful women as friends. You should meet my fiancée.
I've been friends with this girl for ages, and years to come, If we're immortals then it would be eons. I really really like this girl when we we're kids, but she's way out of my league because I'm destined for supermodels (as i ponder in my imaginary world where world peace exists). "I'm a lover not a fighter" -this saying is for cowards. She's the I'm-a-lover-and-a-figther kind of girl which is hot, so hot it can melt Gundam Wing.
She's a former events coordinator and really good at it. She modeled for San Miguel Beer (I saw an event photo, that's now in the world wide web where dirty boys drool). She loves the cars that I want. She loves music, the beach (sometimes she's a bitch and it's good unless you came out of a plasticine machine).
I created a celebrity-look-alikes photo album for friends at my Facebook page and she asked me why she ain't there? "Because you are unique" I answered back.
Zobel Street
I pedal every other day if not everyday and I pass through this street always. When I was in grade school, I'm part of those half-breed's...you know the half-bully-half-good-kid? yeah I'm one of them. And so I met the kid who lives by the house with a big big yard in this street, Zobel. She's okay, quiet and nerdy kid that time, full blooded bullies loved her, good kids envy her brains, teacher's which I call master wizards favor her.
Let me tell you something about her. She used to work at a big TV network, she's a writer, a sweet friend, and a loving daughter. I know a 30 year old who doesn't give shit about his parents, never gives partial amount of his salary, and cheats on his girlfriend. She's the exact opposite. Why I compared her to a dude? I don't know, I just can't think of any my friends who's like that. My girl friends are sweet, real friends, real people.
Her love with her parents and friends can be immortalized with words, If this blog site crash for good, then oops! I'm lying, and it can't be immortalized with broken tech words. I am proud that she is my friend.

My friend was asked to be a guest tattooist in the US for the whole summer. Fifteen years of tattooing experience came a long way and that's what promotion is, what I meant is, stick to your job, no matter how shitty it is. The future is bright if you don't change companies or career too often.
As what I always say 'sometimes you gotta eat shit and do what you gotta do.'

My dear friend Peng's brother got a new shiny toy, an expensive downhill mountain bike. Expensive for me because mine was just under two thousand pesos. Time to go biking with the group if her brother would allow her sister to use his.

Captain Planet
Captain Planet is an American animated environmentalist television program. Yeah, most of us watched that and loved it. On the other hand, left or right, whatever..I know another Captain Planet, yes he's alive, kicking, and having cramps climbing mountains. He can't fly like the real Captain Planet though...but he uses the Isuzu (jeepneys) to travel continents of Philippine traffic.
I met him sometime in 2004..I think. He's a college professor with a goatee. A man with passion for preserving the environment, a mountaineer who loves mountain dew instead of an ocean of gin, animal lover, a man with a soft spot for kids, a man who I can call by his first name when everyone call him 'sir or kuya'. Does he look good? My answer? There are certain things that you should find out for yourself.
He'll catch a grenade for you and throw it to your haters (if you have one) or just throw it to Ping Lacson, a seasoned policeman,a fugitive, and a Philippine Senator.
